Misha was in Ivano-Frankivsk. Anhelina was in Uzhhorod. It was 2013, and neither of them had any idea what those first online messages would eventually become. 💬

They chatted, got to know each other a little, and found it genuinely interesting to talk. Misha even wanted them to learn English together. Anhelina laughed it off. She was sure she'd never need it, certain she'd spend her life in Ukraine. 😄

In 2015, Anhelina graduated 🎓 and Misha moved to the United States. ✈️ Already settling into his new life in America, he recorded a birthday video for her — one she still remembers as one of the most beautiful greetings she ever received, with people from all over the world wishing her well in different languages. 🎬 But distance did its thing. At some point Misha started talking about the TV show Dexter 🔪, a series about a charming serial killer, with a level of enthusiasm that gave Anhelina pause. She quietly decided that maybe this particular pen pal could wait. 😅 Life moved on.

Years passed. Anhelina moved to Kyiv. Misha built his life in America. Their paths ran parallel, never quite crossing — until the war changed everything.

When russia invaded Ukraine, Anhelina found herself in Vancouver, Canada. And so did Misha, visiting at just the right time. They met in person for the very first time. No couple photo from that first meeting, but Misha did snap a photo of Angie eating a burger. 🍔 He couldn't help but laugh: how could someone so delicate and graceful take on a burger that size? 😄 They played rock-paper-scissors to decide who'd pay the bill. Together, things felt easy. Fun. Natural. ✨

Then Anhelina had to go to Czechia, where her family had settled. Two months apart, but they kept talking, and somewhere in those conversations, something became clear: neither of them wanted to lose any more time. So Misha followed her to Czechia. 💕 They spent real time together, learned each other properly, and made a decision.

In 2024, Anhelina arrived in the United States. They began building their life together and haven't stopped since. 🏡

Misha will tell you that Anhelina is his greatest luck. She is endlessly smart — someone he genuinely learns from, the kind of person who opens your eyes to things you never knew you were missing. She supports him, takes care of him, and fills their home with warmth and incredible food. And to him, she is simply the most beautiful and beloved woman in the world. She is, in his words, a gift, a diamond, and his charm. 💎

Anhelina will tell you that Misha is her foundation. He supported her through everything, feels what she feels, loves to plan, and somehow built their entire wedding website in three days. 💻 Together they adopted Liam 🐾, together they're learning to truly hear each other, and together they're building something that will last.

On June 26, 2026, surrounded by the people they love most, they begin the next chapter. And they can't wait. 💍
